Otter Lodge - Private Pond!

My daughter’s wedding was in the area and our family , including the bride and groom, stayed at the Otter Lodge for wedding weekend. It was the perfect accommodations to be able to have the family all together for this special occasion. The Lodge has endless space. Space to be together. Space to grab some time alone. Space for cooking, eating and entertaining. And especially space to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Our favorites were the pond, the fire pits and the deck. We were spoiled with a private bathroom in each bedroom (excellent rain forest showers/water pressure and plenty of hot water). Very easy to control the house temperature. The house is Very well stocked. And the supplies and operating instructions are very well labeled. We catered several meals and the kitchen was perfect for buffets. The oversized refrigerator, full size freezer and ice machine were invaluable. The Host could not have been easier to work with. Very quick to respond. Very accommodating. Very eager to make sure we had a perfect stay. I look forward to the next opportunity to stay at the Otter Lodge!

Our stay at the Otter Lodge in August 2026 was nothing short of amazing. The property was big enough to hold a wedding ceremony and reception for about 125 people and the outdoor views were spectacular. The private pond and the fountain were the perfect backdrop for our wedding ceremony. The house had plenty of room for our entire bridal party to stay the weekend with us, and gave us plenty of space to enjoy each other’s company while preparing for our wedding. I definitely recommend the Otter Lodge to any couple looking at venues in North Eastern Pennsylvania!
